Cabernet Franc is one of the major red grape varieties worldwide. It is mostly used for blending with Cabernet Sauvgnon and Merlot in the Bordeaux style, but can also be vinified alone. The Cabernet Franc is one of the genetic parents of Cabernet Sauvignon.
